Tour Overview

Itinerary

A rich and intriguing itinerary; one of the most popular among travelers visiting Naples.

The route is a classic for those in Naples and lasts about four hours.

Your tour begins with the visit of the Archaeological Museum (MANN), located in the homonymous square Palazzo degli Studi (former cavalry barracks from 1585 to 1680).

Our expert multilingual guide, equipped with the entrance tickets, will guide you through the Museum, which boasts of great importance and that it is placed in Europe as second after the British Museum.

The Museum houses the esteemed wealth of the various royal residences, once owned by the royal families that resided in them during their rule of Naples; as well as finds from the excavations of Pompeii, Ercolano and Stabia. MANN also contains a vast array of undiscovered underground finds, and recently also the first state-of-the-art barrier-free museum area, staging video games for an audience of all ages.

After this beautiful cognitive experience, you continue your journey through Via dei Tribunali, starting with the second part of this Naples itinerary.

The visual path illustrated and explained by our tour guide will give life to the intriguing history of Naples. You’ll get to see and learn about the Churches, Palaces, Squares, San Gregorio Armeno, known for the artisan workshops where Neapolitan shepherds are handmade (the Nativity scene figurines, which is also why the street is called by some Christmas Alley), ending in Piazza del Gesùò which completes the image and last piece of the puzzle to the area of Naples known as the historic center (centro storico).
